4 Courses Required

In this course, you'll learn how to perform official North Carolina State Safety and Emissions inspections on vehicles. You'll get hands-on experience checking important systems like brakes, steering, suspension, lights, mirrors, tires, horns, wipers, and emissions equipment.

You'll also dive into how different vehicle systems work—especially brakes, steering, and suspension. This includes learning how to diagnose problems, make repairs, and understand both traditional and modern systems like anti-lock brakes and electronic suspension.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to perform a full NC safety and emissions inspection, repair and service brake, steering, and suspension systems, check wheel alignment, fix tires, and balance wheels.
