Surry Community College's customized training program provides educational and training opportunities for eligible businesses and industries.
The Customized Training Program consists of job growth, productivity enhancement, and continuous improvement training avenues. Additionally, opportunities are available for extra funding through Technology Investment. Let Surry put together a proposal based upon your needs.
Purpose
The purpose of the Customized Training program is to provide high-quality training specifically tailored to the needs of your employees and organization. We can custom build a certificate program that fits the needs of your organization.
Classes under NC Edge are free to companies that qualify (Manufacturing, Distribution, Call Center or Company Headquarters that do business outside of North Carolina).
Companies that do not qualify for NC Edge training dollars we can do all the same training for a cost of $71 - $183 per student depending on the length of the class.

Focused on new companies wishing to locate in the Surry service area, or companies currently in our area who wish to expand their operations. New companies may qualify for Pre-Employment Assessment to ensure qualified workers.
Productivity Enhancement
Designed to respond directly to the needs of our surrounding industries. Courses are developed through assessment of training needs and cooperative planning between SCC and manufacturing industries.
Continuous Improvement
