Course Description
Esthetics Concepts, Advanced topics in anatomy, physiology, hygiene, sterilization, chemistry, basic dermatology. Upon completion, students should be able to pass a written state exam in Esthetics as a part of licensure in NC. Esthetics Salon, Advanced techniques of esthetics in a simulated salon setting. Advanced facials, body treatments, hair removal, make up application. Upon competition students should be able to pass a practical exam as a part of state licensure for Esthetics in the state of North Carolina.

Learner Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates should be prepared to take the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Arts Licensing Exam. Upon passing, licensed graduates will qualify for employment in salons, spas, wellness clinics, or private offices.

Students are eligible to enroll if they have successfully completed or are currently enrolled in COS-3102A Esthetician I that will be completed before this course begins..
