Course Description

This course is your introduction to the world of cosmetology! You’ll learn the basics of beauty care, including safety and sanitation, first aid, and how to prevent the spread of bacteria. We’ll also cover anatomy, common skin and nail conditions, good hygiene habits, product knowledge, basic chemistry, and professional ethics. You’ll get hands-on practice with manicures and other salon techniques. By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to safely and confidently apply what you’ve learned in a salon setting.
