Course Description

This course teaches you the basics of welding and how it’s done in real-world situations. You’ll learn the SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), also known as stick welding. By the end of the course, you should be able to make fillet and groove welds on carbon steel plates using the correct electrodes. You’ll also learn how to make groove welds in different positions—including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
